Cartoon controversy.

Upon further thought, it occurred to me if such a big stink hadn’t been made about the Danish cartoons, I probably wouldn’t have ever known or seen them. The main thing the protests are accomplishing is managing to foster interest in the things. I was also kind of wondering if in fact the people who had participated in the buring of the Danish embassy had even seen the cartoons or if they were just going on the word of someone who had (or maybe someone who had spoken to someone who had - a kind of bizarre game of telephone).
